Over the last few years, heartthrob Pedro Pascal has stolen the spotlight for leading roles in The Mandalorian, The Last of Us and Gladiator II. But he’s also stolen hearts for his masculine yet charming look, and we wanted to know how to do it.
So we spoke with celebrity stylist Annagjid “Kee” Taylor (of Deeper Than Hair fame), whose portfolio boasts major names like Keke Palmer, Tiffany Haddish and more. She gave us both tips and the products you can use either at home, or in a professional setting, that she’d use to recreate his confident, sophisticated hair and beard.
3 Steps to Get Pedro’s Tousled Hair
“Pedro’s look is all about understated confidence—nothing too fussy, but every detail is intentional,” Taylor explains. “To recreate that vibe, focus on grooming that enhances your natural features: Clean skin, tamed brows, and a touch of tousled texture in the hair. The goal is to look like you, with a lil twist.”
1. Hydration Station: You’ll want to start out with something that will prep and protect your hair from the elements. For that, Taylor recommends putting a dollop of Cécred Moisture Sealing Lotion (from Beyoncé’s hair care line) in your hair, and leaving it in to work its magic.
“It hydrates and strengthens without weighing hair down,” she explains. “Perfect for keeping the style fresh and smooth.”
2. Keep It Under Control: Next, you’ll want to control any flyaways with something light like Fix Your Lid Medium Hold Pomade. You can massage it in generously without flattening your hair.
“It gives just the right amount of control without weighing the hair down,” Taylor tells us. “It’s perfect for that tousled, brushed-back style Pedro wears so well, and it has a natural finish that still feels polished.”
3. Matte Chic: As an alternative or for a matte finish, Taylor might also use Aveda’s Men Pure-Formance Grooming Clay. Like the Fix Your pomade, she’ll work some in without adding too much.
“It has a strong hold and matte finish that works wonders for adding structure to shorter styles,” she says. “A little goes a long way, and it’s amazing for keeping hair in place while still letting it move naturally.”
The Must-Haves For A Sculpted Beard
Sculpt It: Once you’ve gotten your facial hair to where it should be, Taylor recommends working in a minimal amount of Reuzel Beard Balm for a sculpted-yet-sleek look. One of our editors also mentions that he loves his salon-quality BaBylissPRO clippers for all kinds of difficult trimming jobs, like jawlines.
“[Beard Balm] softens and shapes the beard while taming flyaways,” Taylor says. “Warm a small amount in your hands and work it through to keep everything controlled but touchable.”
