Dianna Agron has thoughts about fans of Glee shipping her character, Quinn Fabray, with Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry.
“I know we’re leaving, but I just need to know your thoughts on ‘Faberry.’ Do you know what ‘Faberry’ is?” fellow Glee alum Kevin McHale asked Agron, 39, during her recent appearance on his “And That’s What You REALLY Missed” podcast.
Agron quickly replied, noting that she “now” understands the blended ship name for Fabray and Berry.
“That is that Lea and I’d characters end up together, right?” Agron asked. “Well, then, what happens to Jesse St. James? Are we a throuple?”
Rachel ended up married to Jesse (Jonathan Groff) in the Glee series finale, which took place two years after Cory Monteith’s death. (Monteith played Finn, Rachel’s longtime love interest, while dating Michele, now 38, in real life at the same time.)
“And then, we both get directed by him?” Agron quipped of a future story line, referring to Jesse’s eventual job directing Broadway shows. “[Rachel would be] winning more and more Emmys and Tonys, and Quinn is her and Jesse’s entertainment lawyer. She’s just really doing great deals for them, expanding their universes.”
While Rachel set and conquered her sights on the Broadway stage after their high school graduation, Quinn attended Yale University, where she briefly dated a fellow student named Biff McIntosh (Chace Crawford).

“What did she do at Yale? We don’t know,” Agron added of Quinn’s last plot lines. “But, she’s a power, that’s for sure. She’s in her power in the future in her throuple with Jesse and Rachel.”
Quinn also previously explored her sexuality during Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma’s (Jayma Mays) would-be wedding reception. In the midst of singing “We’ve Got Tonite,” it was revealed that Quinn hooked up with Santana (Naya Lopez), who had publicly come out as a lesbian seasons earlier.
“[They had] a very special night together,” Agron recalled. “There is so much that happened on the show.”
Santana ended up marrying fellow glee club member Brittany Pierce (Heather Morris) in a double wedding with Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) and Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss).
Five years after Glee wrapped, Rivera tragically drowned at the age of 33 during a fatal boating accident.
“It’s hard to think of our loved ones from the show not being present with us anymore because they feel so present in my heart, body, mind, soul, all of it,” Agron said on the podcast episode. “I think that tenderness I feel and the memories that I have [of] who Cory, Naya and Mark [Salling] were as people, as cast members, as our friends and family [are] just so vivid.”
Monteith and Salling died in 2013 and 2018, respectively.
