Former Good Morning America cohosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are looking forward to their 2026 nuptials — and already have a plan for their special day.
“They want a destination wedding because they don’t want a media frenzy,” a source close to the couple exclusively tells Us Weekly. “They don’t want their wedding to be about that. They want it to be small and intimate and only want 50 to 100 guests at the most.”
According to the insider, some of the possible destination locations the betrothed couple are considering include Turks and Caicos, Paris and Tulum.
“June 2026 has been discussed,” the source added, noting that “nothing is solidified just yet.”
The pair announced their engagement during the October 14 episode of their iHeartRadio “Amy & TJ” podcast.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach, 52 said at the time.
“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to,” Holmes, 48, added. “We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,” seemingly alluding to the pair’s alleged affair.
According to a source who spoke exclusively to Us at the time, the pair shared the news of their engagement to their nearest and dearest via an intimate soiree.
“They threw a small private party with their closest friends and family, and they told people they are. engaged and going to get married,” the insider said at the time. “And there will be a wedding.”
News broke of the former GMA3 cohosts’ relationship in late 2022, while Robach and Holmes were married to Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively. Us broke the news in January 2023 that the couple were officially let go from their ABC jobs amid the scandal.
“Because everyone got to know about them through the alleged affair, they genuinely believe it’s not like that,” the source tells Us of the pair’s future marriage, referring to online rumors that the pair are only engaged for publicity purposes.

“It’s not based on that foundation, and they found real love,” the insider says. “They want their union solidified. And they want to share vows in front of their loved ones to make it official. They want people to know how authentic their love is for each other.”
The source adds, “They feel like they are each other’s forever. They feel like they’re soulmates and they should have been together from the beginning.”
A potential destination and date are not all the couple are planning — according to the insider, Robach has also thought about her future wedding gown and who will inevitably walk her down the aisle.
“Her dress will be simple and elegant. Nothing over-the-top,” the insider shares. “Amy wants her kids to walk her down the aisle, and his kids to walk him down the aisle.” (Robach shares daughters Ava and Annalise with her first husband, Tim McIntosh. Meanwhile, Holmes shares Brianna and Jaiden with his first wife, Amy Ferson, and daughter Sabine with Fiebig.)
Us has reached out to representatives for Robach and Holmes for comment.
In October, a separate source told Us that the pair’s children are extremely supportive of their relationship and impending nuptials.
“Their kids are happy and are supportive,” the source told Us at the time. “[T.J. and Amy] want to spend their lives together and see themselves as each others’ forever. They are taking marriage seriously and want to say their vows in front of their friends and family.”
