Ariana Grande’s Wicked: For Good press tour style is Glinda and Elphaba–approved.
Grande, 32, stepped out in a stunning ballgown while posing at the Wicked: For Good premiere in New York City on Monday, November 17. The dress was sure to get the stamp of approval from her character, Glinda, as well as Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, with nods to both characters’ style.
Her custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture dress featured a corset top in black — Elphaba’s signature color — with a strapless sweetheart neckline adorned with lace embellishments and a peplum waist.
Grande teamed the top with a Glinda-esque skirt, featuring layers of rosy pleated tulle fabric.
The singer elevated her look with elegant glam, including filled-in eyebrows, light pink eyeshadow, long lashes and extra-rosy cheeks. Grande contoured her button nose and topped off her makeup with pink, lined, glossy lips.
Her freshly dyed brunette hair was slicked back into a voluminous ponytail with her side bangs gelled down to her forehead. She pinned a black bow in her mane and added a touch of sparkle with diamond drop earrings.
On the red carpet, Grande posed with Erivo, 38, who looked like a baddie in a black Balenciaga outfit.
Her look featured a shiny top adorned with a plume extending off of her chest and arms. Her long-sleeve top cascaded into a snatched waist and drop-waist. Erivo’s look was even more dramatic with a pleated A-line skirt.

While getting her photo taken, Erivo wore a black mask over her eyes. She then took it off to reveal her smokey eyeshadow, long lashes and pink lips. The actress made her look even more glamorous with diamond earrings and a silver septum piercing.
Throughout the Wicked: For Good press tour, Grande has been leaning into more black ensembles than pink, which she wore on the press tour for last year’s first installment.
For the movie’s London premiere, she stunned in a beaded 1952 Gilbert Adrian design, equipped with a one-shoulder neckline and tight bodice. The look was even more stunning with a tiered A-line skirt with delicate black beading. Grande accessorized with a diamond necklace and stud earrings.
Grande wore another black dress while out and about in London following the premiere. She rocked a vintage 1950s number with a sheer top decorated with white florals. Just like her other dress, her skirt featured black tiered tulle with more florals.
Grande styled her look with platform Christian Louboutin strappy heels and a timeless updo.
While fans have seen her in more black than pink this time around, the actress has still worn the bright color.
At the Governors Awards on Sunday, November 16, she looked gorgeous in a 2007 Christian Dior by John Galliano dress complete with one shoulder, a column skirt and a side train. Her frock was finished with all-over crystal embellishments, which she matched with Swarovski pink rings and stud earrings.
Grande wore another pink dress after the Singapore premiere. She posed in a custom Balenciaga gown with sequin details.
